ECO PA is a cast polyamide known for its excellent sliding properties, making it suitable for back-up rings, guide rings, and bearing components, especially for diameters exceeding 260 mm. ECO PA can be utilized in mineral oils and water-based fire-resistant hydraulic fluids. However, when using ECO PA in water or water-based fluids, it’s crucial to consider the material’s tendency to absorb water (up to eight weight percent), which can lead to swelling.
